Tuyen Lam lake (Paradise Lake), 6km to the South of Dalat, has the water surface of 350 ha. It was created by Tia stream – head water of Da Tam river. Nobody knows when and why it was called Tuyen Lam, but maybe because of the grandiose nature around it – stream and forest were close to each other. Tuyen stand for stream, Lam stands for forest. Tuyen Lam is a place for water and tree meeting each other.
The 10-hectare tourist site is hugged by 170-hectares of sloping pine trees and green grass hills. Strolling on the hill, tourists can hear the sound of pine leaves chanting in the wind and indulge in the colorful flowers on the path to the hill as well as in souvenir shops.
Dambri waterfall is located in the Northwest of Bao Loc town, Lam Dong province. Dambri waterfall is a famous destination for tourists and it is the highest waterfall in the province (57m). It is surface width is 30m.
Located beside national road 20th, 5 km from downtown of Dalat, Datanla tourist site has an area of 312ha set amidst the preservation forests.
Elephant waterfall is located in Nam Ban town – let, over 40km from Dalat. The waterfall has 30m in height and it lies on Cam Ly stream.
Jraiblian waterfall is located in Ta In commune of Duc Trong district, outskirt of Dalat city. Jraiblian was a familiar name that Churu always called this place, it meant the fall of high rocks. Later, it was also called Bao Dai waterfall because that was the place where King Bao Dai used to go hunting. He often stopped there to have a rest after hunting.
The waterfall is located at a deserted area, 40km from Dalat. Take a turning at the km-post No.260, keep going 6 km more, tourists will reach the eco-tourism site of Pongour waterfall, which was recognized as a National-level beauty-spot on 13 April,2000.
Prenn waterfall is located at the foot of Prenn Pass which is 10 km far from Dalat city. Prenn waterfall is the gateway of Dalat. In the old time, there was a village of Prenn up the stream, so the waterfall bears the name Prenn.
Tiger Cave waterfall is located in Xuan Tho commune, Dalat city, in National road 20. Take a turning at the km-post No.13 and keep going around 2,7km, you will see the waterfall.
Lang Biang Mountains is located on Lang Biang Plateau, Lac Duong District, Lam Dong Province. It’s only about 12km from Dalat centre and sometimes called Lam Vien Mountain as well.
